Aston Martin V12 Vantage 'Elwood' 1:43 resin model Drivers: Bez/Meaden/Porritt/Mathai The V12 Vantage was launched to critical acclaim in May 2009. With it, a near standard V12 Vantage lightly modified to conform to race legislation was entered into the 37th running of the ADAC Nürburgring 24 Hour race. Known to the in-house race team as ‘Elwood’, this was the final engineering sign-of test for the car under public scrutiny. The car ran without fault for the entire 24-hours and came home 1st in class and 21st overall from a field of 170 starters.
