British Classic Car Meeting
The 19th edition of the British Classic Car Meeting took place from the 13th – 15th July and saw some of the finest British cars going head-to-head, with approximately 200 cars taking part. The sheer volume of British classics – 68 Jaguars, 39 Rolls-Royces, 31 Bentleys, 24 Austin-Healeys and 23 Aston Martins to be precise – created an imposing sight in front of Badrutt’s Palace Hotel, the starting point of Saturday’s rally.
The rally route titled the ‘Albula Rally’ led from St. Moritz over the Fluela Pass to Davos, through Bergun, and then over the Albula Pass back to St. Moritz in the Upper Engadin.
This year’s rally was privileged to have two very special Aston Martins fully restored by the Aston Workshop and supplied to one of our respected clients. The first a fully restored Zagato recreation driven by himself, second a beautiful DB4 Series II again fully restored by our company and driven by his brother. As you can probably see by the smiles on the gentlemen’s faces they must have enjoyed themselves immensely. The restoration details of this exact Zagato can be found in our online book here.
We are already looking forward to the next British Classic Car Meeting which will be a very special event indeed, thanks to two important anniversaries: 20 years of the British Classic Car Meeting and Aston Martin’s 100th birthday!
